Online Gig Marketplace Fiverr Acquires New York-Based Freelancers Back-Office Startup “And Co”
Last June, Fiverr also acquired San Francisco-based video production marketplace company VeedMe
Israel-based online gig marketplace Fiverr Int. Ltd. acquired New York-based back-office startup And Co, the company announced Wednesday. As part of the acquisitions, And Co’s services will become available for free to freelancers working through Fiverr’s marketplace. The companies will continue to operate independently, with And Co becoming a Fiverr company.

Based in Tel Aviv with additional offices in New York, Chicago, Miami and San Francisco, Fiverr allows users to buy and sell professional services online for as low as $5. The company has raised $111 million in funding to date.
