China’s autonomous trucks company TuSimple, registered as Beijing TuSimple Technology Co. Ltd., selected a flash-based storage system by Tel Aviv-based WekaIO Inc. TuSimple will use the system “to accelerate its deep neural network (DNN) machine learning training,” WekaIO said in a Tuesday announcement. Backed by chip company Nvidia, TuSimple raised $55 million in a Series C funding in November.
