More businesses opt to pay ransom money to hackers, survey finds. According to a new survey by Merrill Research, more businesses opt to pay hackers ransom in hope to refrain from repercussion of cyber attacks. Over half of the respondents in the survey, all senior executives at businesses with over $20 million in annual revenues, said the company they work for agreed to pay a ransom. The survey was conducted on behalf of Israel-based Nasdaq-listed networking company Radware Ltd.
