Israel’s Innovation Authority (IIA) is launching a new pilot program for Israeli startups to test their products in India, the IIA announced on Sunday. The program is part of a wider collaboration initiative between the two countries called India Israel Innovation Bridge, launched during mutual visits by the countries’ leaders in 2017. Eighteen finalists will pitch their technologies to executives from Indian companies at an event scheduled to take place in Tel Aviv next week. Six startups will be selected for the program, two from each of the following sectors: health, water, and agriculture. The IIA is an Israeli government investment arm dedicated to supporting the local tech industry.
