EBay Executive Appointed General Manager of LivePerson Israel

Nasdaq and Tel Aviv-listed customer engagement company LivePerson Inc. has appointed Yuval Matalon as general manager of its Israel branch, the company announced Monday. In April, it was announced that Mr. Matalon will be stepping down from his position as general manager of eBay Israel in late June. Mr. Matalon was replaced by Moti Eliav, eBay Israel's former director of product development. Before joining eBay in 2008, Mr. Matalon was vice president of operations of information services provider StoreNext Israel, and the executive vice president of the U.S. branch of Israel-based cashiers software company Retalix Ltd., acquired by NCR Corporation in 2013. Founded in 1995 and headquartered in New York, LivePerson develops a cloud-based system allowing companies to directly interact with customers on various channels including websites, social media, and mobile platforms.
