Data Privacy Company Prifender Raises $5 Million
Prifender develops an AI-backed automated platform that tracks the flow of data to help organizations control their data and meet privacy requirements
Tel Aviv based data detection company Prifender, Inc. announced on Tuesday it received a $5 million Seed investment from Israeli venture capital firm Firstime VC. Shaked Ventures and iAngels also participated in the round. Prifender develops a fully automated platform that detects and tracks the flow of data and maps personal information across networks, to help enterprises control their data and demonstrate accountability and compliance with data privacy requirements. Prifender’s was founded by former PayPal, eBay, Microsoft and Ernst & Young’s executives. The company said it will use the money to finance its global expansion.
