Auto Parts Company Soling to Collaborate With Israeli Gesture Recognition Startup EyeSight

Chinese tier-1 auto informatics manufacturer Shenzhen Soling Industrial Company Ltd. announced on Wednesday a collaboration with Israeli gesture recognition startup eyeSight Technologies Ltd. to develop and market next-generation driver monitoring systems in China. As part of the collaboration, eyeSight's driver monitoring technology will be embedded into vehicle safety systems manufactured by Soling. EyeSight's technology is designed to track a driver’s gaze trajectory to alert of blind spots as well as provide real-time assessment of the driver’s alertness by tracking the driver’s head position and gaze trajectory. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
