Icelandic Low-Cost Airline WOW Air Pulls Out of Israel

WOW Air will continue to operate routes connecting Tel Aviv with destinations in the U.S. and Canada with a layover in Reykjavik until mid-November

Reykjavik, Iceland-based low-cost airline WOW Air ehf. is pulling out of Israel. The company will not operate flights to and from Israel during the winter season, from November 18 to March 19 next year, WOW Air announced on Wednesday. Until then, WOW Air will continue to operate routes connecting Tel Aviv with destinations in the U.S. and Canada with a layover in Reykjavik. The company stated it intends to resume operating the routes in the summer and cited operational considerations as the cause for the change.
