Shared office company WeWork has extended its support to a Tel Aviv-based nonprofit organization called Nahshonim, which runs a leadership development program for young tech and business professionals, WeWork and Nahshonim announced Monday. Dubbed the “Board of Directors,” the six-month program, currently recruiting for its second cohort, brings together 10 young people from Israel’s tech and business community and places them as board members at local nonprofits. WeWork will host the program’s activities and workshops at one of its Tel Aviv locations and will encourage its members to apply. Former program graduates include professionals from Google, Microsoft, mobile and web monetization and software distribution company IronSource Ltd. and online gambling company 888 Holdings PLC.
