Singapore-based United Overseas Bank Ltd. (UOB) has invested an undisclosed sum in artificial intelligence-based personalized financial guidance company Personetics Technologies Ltd. as part of a partnership, the company announced Thursday. UOB, which has more than 500 offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America, is the first bank in Asia to partner with Personetics, according to the statement. UOB said it will use the company's technology to build on its existing AI capabilities and increase its customer engagement in the next two years.
