Israeli Nano Materials Company Dotz Raises $1.8 in Australian Private Placement

Australia Stock Exchange-listed Nanomaterials company Dotz Nano Pty. Ltd. announced Monday it has raised some $1.8 million (AUD 2.5 million) in a private placement on the Australian Securities Exchange. Dotz issued 27.78 million shares at a price of $0.07 (AUD 0.09) per share. Founded in 2014 and based in central Israel, Dotz manufactures and markets graphene quantum dots used for authentication and tracing of products in fields including optical, medical imaging, and electronics. Dotz received $6 million in funding from undisclosed investors in 2016 through a private placement.
