Phone call recording, transcription, and text analysis company Celtinel agreed to pay “several millions of shekels” for Israeli business intelligence startup Corr.Bi, Ron Shafran, Corr.Bi’s co-founder and CEO, told Calcalist Sunday. Corr.Bi development team, along with co-founder and CTO Nir Benita, will join Celtinel, Shafran said. Founded in 2016, Corr.Bi’s technology traces phone numbers, crossing them with data from social platforms and other open source databases to provide a bio of the caller within seconds. The company took part in the first cohort of barclays' and TechStars' accelerator in Tel Aviv. It has raised around $100,000 in funding, according to Pitchbook data.
