Export of Tech Services From Israel is Booming

As more multinational companies set foot in Israel’s technology hub, the country’s export of technology-related services is booming. Export of business services from Israel has risen 62% in five years, according to a new report by Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics, published Monday. In 2012, business service exports from Israel were valued at $21 billion, and in 2017, the export of such services totaled $34 billion. Technology development services and other computer related services accounted for over half of the overall business services exported from the country, totaling $18.95 billion. The U.S. is the primary client of Israeli business services, accounting for 38% and $13.1 billion in 2017.
