American carmaker Ford will hold a two-day competition for Israeli startups in Tel Aviv next month, the company announced Monday. 20 teams, selected out of 140 candidates developing mobile apps and digital services for the automotive industry, will be given access to Ford’s car connectivity technologies Sync 3 and Applink as well as to professional mentors. The startups will compete over 30,000 euros worth of monetary prizes and grants to be used for travel expenses to and from Ford’s global offices for meetings with company executives.
