San Francisco-based customer service software juggernaut Salesforce.com Inc. announced on Monday it has completed its acquisition of Israel-based marketing analytics company Datorama Ltd. The two companies first announced the deal in blog posts published in July. The deal is valued at over $800 million.
Datorama develops artificial intelligence-powered marketing analytics software. Headquartered in New York, the company was founded in 2012 by Israeli entrepreneurs Ran Sarig, Katrin Ribant, and Efi Cohen. In July, Salesforce said the Datorama deal builds on its partnership with Google Analytics 360 and the work on Salesforce’ artificial intelligence engine known as “Einstein.”
