Israeli coworking real estate company MindSpace Ltd. has opened its first U.S. location this week. Located on Washington D.C.’s K Street, the 31,000-square-feet space is designed to accommodate over 500 members. Mindspace is set to open its second U.S. location in San Francisco before the end of the month, the company said in a blog post.
In July, Mindspace announced it signed a deal with U.K.-based real estate investment firm Globalworth Real Estate Investments Ltd. to open three new locations in Romania totaling approximately 12,000 square meters. The company now operates 28 locations in 13 cities in the U.S., U.K., Germany, Netherlands, Poland, and Israel, and reports over 12,000 members. Among Mindspace’s customers are Microsoft, Yahoo!, Spotify, Barclays Bank, and Expedia.
