2.7 Million Passengers to Travel Through Tel Aviv’s Airport in August

The Israel Airports Authority reports a 10% rise in the number of passengers compared with August 2017

2.7 million passengers are expected to travel through Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport in August, a 10% increase compared with the same period last year, according to data published Monday by Israel’s Airports Authority. In September, the Airports Authority is expecting 2.2 million passengers to pass through Tel Aviv’s airport, a 17% increase from September 2017.

In July, Israel’s Ministry of Transportation said it was expecting 5.3 million passengers to travel through Tel Aviv’s airport in the summer months, up to 100,000 passengers a day during the busiest days of July and August.
