How Autonomous Vehicles Will Change the Banking Industry

From a banking perspective, the most important aspects of the autonomous vehicle are new technologies, the sharing economy, security, customer trust, and the new financial services banks need to provide, according to Haim Pinto, chief technology officer at Bank Hapoalim, one of Israel’s largest banks.

Pinto spoke on the most crucial financial implications of the changes the automotive industry is undergoing at a conference held jointly by Calcalist and events firm Connecting Leaders Club at the Mondial de l'Automobile auto show in Paris on Tuesday.
