Data Storage Startup WekaIO Appoints New CTO

WekaIO, Inc., a San Jose, California-based data storage company, announced on Wednesday the appointment of Andy Watson as its chief technology officer. WekaIO develops scalable file storage for data heavy applications. WekaIO has raised $32 million in investment according to Pitchbook data. The company maintains an office in Tel Aviv. Prior to joining WekaIO, Watson served as CTO at Minio, Inc., a cloud-based data storage company.
