Israeli venture capital firm Israel Growth Partners (IGP) Ltd. announced on Sunday the appointment of venture capitalist Ziv Kop to a general partner. Kop is IGP’s fifth partner, joining Uri Erde, Assaf Harel, and founders Haim Shani and Moshe Lichtman. Before joining IGP, Kop served as a partner in Innovation Endeavors, a venture capital firm owned by former Google CEO Eric Schmidt. In June, IGP closed a $230 million new investment fund, IGP II, set to invest in mature Israeli tech startups.
