Three Startups Win Prime Minister’s Award for Israeli Innovation
Cryptography startup Unbound Tech, Food-Tech Startup DouxMatok, and genetic interpretation startup Emedgene will receive approximately $19,000 each

Three startups have been awarded the Prime Minister’s Award for Israeli Innovation, government innovation investment arm, the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA) announced Thursday. Cryptography startup Unbound Tech Ltd., Food-Tech Startup DouxMatok Ltd., and genetic interpretation startup Emedgene Technologies Ltd. will receive approximately $19,000 (NIS 70,000) each at the opening event of the Israeli Innovation Summit held under the auspices of the Israeli Prime Minister next Wednesday in Jerusalem. Founded in 2013 and based in Petah Tikva, a town in the Tel Aviv area, with additional offices in New York, Unbound Tech develops cybersecurity technology that protects cryptographic keys and passwords. Also based in Petah Tikva and founded in 2014, DouxMatok develops a food supplement that makes sugar taste sweeter. Tel Aviv-based Emedgene develops an artificial intelligence-based system for automatically managing, analyzing, and interpreting vast amounts of genetic information.
