Israel has climbed five spots on the 2019 Doing Business index published by the World Bank on Wednesday. Israel is now ranked 49 out of 190 countries, following a seven-year downward trend. Published annually, the index analyzes a variety of criteria, including government regulation, access to electricity, availability of financing, and taxation to determine a country’s ease of doing business ranking.
