Conversational AI Startup Bonobo Raises $4.4 Million

Tel Aviv-based conversational AI startup Bonobo announced Thursday it completed a $4.4 million Seed round led by G20 and Capri Ventures.

Listed as Bonobot Technologies Ltd., the company develops conversational AI technology designed to extract insights from online customer interactions. “The richest insights into customer behavior come from unstructured data like voice and chat, but those data points have historically been impossible to analyze and leverage at scale,” Efrat Rapoport, Bonobo co-founder, and CEO, said in a statement. Bonobo’s technology integrates directly with various sources of customer interaction data, such as voice, chat, video, and email, running AI algorithms to analyze the data.

Founded in 2016 and Based in Tel Aviv and New York, Bonobo lists companies including HoneyBook Inc. and MyHeritage Ltd. as clients.
