Israel-based direct-to-shape printing company Velox Ltd. has raised $32 million, the company announced Tuesday. The round was led by JAL Ventures and Tel Aviv-listed O.R.T. Technologies, with the participation of investors including German chemicals companies Altana AG and Evonik Industries AG. Founded in 2012, Velox develops and manufactures industrial-grade direct-to-shape digital decoration products for the rigid container industry. The company employs over 60 people in Israel.

In June, Altana partnered with investment company SKion GmbH, both owned by German businesswoman Susanne Klatten, to invest $300 million in Israel-based Landa Digital Printing, a division of Landa Corporation Ltd. Building on a former investment Altana made in 2014, the two companies now own a 46% stake in Landa Digital Printing.
