Industrial AI Startup Aquant Raises $10 Million

Aquant develops and markets machine learning software that mines historical data for insights that can shorten machinery downtime

New York-headquartered industrial AI startup Aquant Technologies Ltd. has raised $10 million, the company said in a statement Thursday. Lightspeed Venture Partners led the round. Other participants included New York-based World Trade Ventures and SilverTech Ventures, and Angular Ventures.

Incorporated in 2016, Aquant develops and markets machine learning software that mines historical data for insights that can shorten machinery downtime. The company lists Home Depot and 3D Systems as customers.

Founded by CEO Shahar Chen and chief operating officer Assaf Melochna, the company employs 15 people in offices in New York City and Tel Aviv.
