Nasdaq-Listed Akamai Leases 6,800 Square Meters in Tel Aviv’s ToHa Tower

Nasdaq-listed company Akamai Technologies Inc. has signed a 10-year lease on office space in ToHa Tower, currently under construction in Tel Aviv, the company announced Tuesday. Akamai will pay NIS 12 million (approximately $3.2 million) a year for a 6,800-square-meter space on the 17th and 18th floors of the 30-story building, as well as 100 parking spaces. The content delivery company operates a research and development center in Israel. Its current offices span over 3,000 square meters.
ToHa Tower, designed by Israeli-born architects Ron Arad and Avner Yashar, is set for completion by early 2019. Other companies to have leased space in the building include WeWork, Motorola Solutions Inc., Tel Aviv-based software company Natural Intelligence, image recognition company Trax Image Recognition, and cybersecurity company Tufin Software Technologies Ltd.
