Berlin-based business intelligence company Adjust GmbH has signed an agreement to acquire Tel Aviv-based fraud prevention startup Unbotify Ltd., the companies announced Tuesday. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2015, Unbotify develops machine learning-based bot-detection technologies that analyze human behavior patterns to distinguish between genuine users and automated scripts. Unbotify will continue to operate as an independent unit, becoming Adust’s 15th global outpost. The company currently employs 25 people and intends to double in size by the end of the year. Founded in 2012, Adjust provides mobile app marketers with analytics and fraud prevention tools.
