888 Holdings Appoints Itai Pazner as CEO

Online gambling company 888 Holdings PLC has appointed chief operating officer Itai Pazner as its new CEO, the company announced Thursday. Pazner joined 888 Holdings in 2001 as a marketing manager and assumed the role of COO in 2017. He succeeds Itai Frieberger, who has stepped down after 14 years with the company. Frieberger will remain the company’s director for a period of up to a year, the company said.

Gibraltar-headquartered 888 Holdings owns several online gambling brands, among them 888casino, 888poker, 888bingo, and 888sport. The company was founded in 1997 by four Israeli entrepreneurs, and most of its employees are based in Israel. 888 Holdings reported revenue of $541.8 million for 2017.
