Israeli cybersecurity company Cato Networks Ltd. has completed a $55 million investment round led by California-headquartered Lightspeed Venture Partners, the company announced Tuesday. All of Cato Networks’ existing investors participated in the round. These include Aspect Ventures, Greylock Partners, Singtel Innov8 Ventures Pte. Ltd., and USVP Management Company LLC. To date, the company raised $125 million.
Cato Networks provides software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN) security and reports a customer base of over 300 enterprises. The Tel Aviv-headquartered Cato Networks was founded in 2015 by Gur Shatz and Shlomo Kramer, who co-founded firewall pioneer Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., cybersecurity company Imperva Inc., and Trusteer Inc.
