Israeli Accelerator theDock Partners with U.S. Tank Barge Operator Kirby Corp

Israeli maritime startup accelerator theDock Innovation Hub and Houston-headquartered tank barge operator Kirby Corporation have signed a partnership agreement, the two announced Tuesday. The Dock will help Kirby scout for new technological innovations.

Founded in 2016 and based in Israeli port city Haifa, theDock focuses on maritime and port-related startups. The accelerator has previously inked partnerships with Danish shipping conglomerate A.P. Moller–Maersk Group, Finnish marine technology, and shipping company Wärtsilä Corporation, Lloyd's Register Group Ltd., and DSV-Global Transport and Logistics.
