Thai 7-Eleven Operator Looking for Tech in Tel Aviv

Bangkok-headquartered CP All Public Company Ltd., a convenience store chain operator with an annual turnover of almost $17 billion, is on the lookout for Israeli technologies.
Founded in 1988, CP All is the licensed operator of the 7-Eleven brand in Thailand, with around 12,000 stores. The company also owns businesses including financial services, production, and sales of food and bakery products, information technology services, marketing, and logistics services, and educational facilities.
On Wednesday, a delegation headed by CP All's chief new business officer Anuruck Watanathawornwong landed in Israel for a three-day visit at the behest of the Israeli Ministry of Economy. He is set to meet with around 20 Israeli tech companies in the domains of retail, automotive, and telemedicine.
According to the ministry, the trade turnover between Israel and Thailand amounted to $920 million in 2018.
