Softbank Corporation-backed cybersecurity company Cybereason Inc. has appointed Ghazal Asif as senior vice president of worldwide channels, the company announced Thursday. Prior to Cybereason, Asif served as the vice president of worldwide channels at Cisco-acquired AppDynamics Inc.
Founded in 2012 by Israeli military intelligence units veterans, Cybereason specializes in endpoint detection and response software. The company is headquartered in Boston, with a research and development center in Tel Aviv. Cybereason has raised $190 million to date and employs 450 people, according to Pitchbook data.
