Irish low-cost airline Ryanair is launching a new direct route from Tel Aviv to Berlin, the company announced Saturday. The direct flights will operate daily, between October 2019 and March 2020.
Connecting Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport with Berlin’s Tegel Airport, this will be the company’s third route from Tel Aviv to Germany, as the airline already operates flights connecting Tel Aviv with Baden Baden in the west of the country and Memmingen in its south.
As of 2015, the airline also operates flights to European destinations from Southern Israel. Last week, Ryanair was the first international airline to land at Israel’s new Ramon International Airport, 18 kilometers north of resort town Eilat.
