ERP Developer Priority Software Acquires Belgium’s IT Services Firm Optimize Group

The Israel-based developer of enterprise resource planning (ERP) management software says the deal is part of an expansion effort in Europe

Priority Software Ltd., an Israel-based developer of enterprise resource planning (ERP) management software, has announced Tuesday it acquired Belgium-based OPTIMIZE GROUP, a provider of information and communications technology (ICT) services. Priority did not disclose the financial terms of the deal. The acquisition is part of its expansion strategy in Europe, the company said. Following the acquisition, Optimize will serve as an independent unit within the company.

Priority Software serves 75,000 companies in 40 countries and operates offices in the U.S., U.K., and Israel. The company was founded in 1986.

Founded in 2003, Optimize develops software for the steel industry, beverage industry, and offers business intelligence, ecommerce, and customer relationship management services.
