After a 20-year hiatus, Israel’s national carrier El Al Israel Airlines Ltd. is relaunching direct flights from Chicago’s O’Hare airport to Tel Aviv, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and El Al announced Wednesday.
The new service will be offered three times weekly, on Tuesdays, Thursdays,and Sundays. Taking off in March 2020, passengers will be flown on a 282-seat Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
