Tel Aviv-based cybersecurity startup CyberHat Ltd. has raised $6 million in a funding round led by Mangrove Capital Partners, the company announced Wednesday.
As part of its expansion efforts, CyberHat has promoted its chief security officer Yifat Bar-Eli to head the company’s Israel operation.

Founded in 2013, CyberHat offers security operations center (SOC) services, including constant monitoring of a company’s security systems, as well as prediction, detection, and defense against hacks and other cyber threats. “We offer remote investigative, monitoring, and attack prevention capabilities to companies regardless of their size and choice of technologies,” CyberHat founder and CEO Nadav Arbel said in a phone interview with Calcalist, Wednesday. The company employs 60 people in offices in Tel Aviv and New York. It intends to use the funding for research and development as well as for expanding its reach in the U.S., in Latin America, in Europe, and in Asia, according to the company’s statement.
