Outbrain Completes Ligatus Acquisition

New York-headquartered online content distribution company Outbrain Inc. announced Tuesday the completion of its acquisition of German online advertising company Ligatus GmbH, first announced in February. Outbrain did not disclose the financial details of the deal, which the company said would help develop its own discovery platform.

Ligatus CEO Klaus Lidemann will join Outbrain following the acquisition as part of the company’s strategy and corporate development group.
