SolarWinds Buys IT Software Company Samanage For $350 Million
SolarWinds, which provides IT services to more than 300,000 companies, will integrate Semanage products into its portfolio of IT management products

New York-listed IT management company SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC is set to acquire IT service software company Samanage Ltd. for $350 million, SolarWinds announced Thursday. The deal, SolarWinds’s first acquisition in Israel, is set to be completed in the second quarter of 2019.
As part of the acquisition, SolarWinds, which provides services to more than 300,000 companies and organizations, will integrate technologies by Semanage into its portfolio of IT management products. Samanage offers cloud computing services to corporate IT departments. Founded in 2007, Samanage employees 200 people in both the U.S. and Israel, and has raised $74 million to date, according to Pitchbook data. The company reports some 2,000 corporate customers including Salesforce, Ikea, and 3M.
