The City of New York Hosted 450 Israeli Startups in 2018

The city of New York was home to some 9,000 companies in 2018, Ana Ariño, chief strategy officer of the New York City Economic Development Corporation, said Thursday at Calcalist’s Mind the Tech conference in New York.

Ariño was interviewed on stage by Guy Franklin, general manager of the New York center of startup network SOSA. In October, SOSA was selected to set up a global cyber center in New York.

Franklin added that 450 of the 9,000 startups mentioned by Ariño were Israeli.
