Pitango Taps Intel Capital’s Director of Strategic Investments
Amir Faintuch joins Israeli venture capital firm Pitango as an independent venture partner

Amir Faintuch, previously the director of strategic investments at Intel’s venture capital arm Intel Capital, has joined Israel-based venture capital fund Pitango as an independent venture partner, Pitango announced Wednesday.

Faintuch also held positions at Qualcomm’s Atheros Communications, Inc. and Texas Instruments Inc. Pitango has more than $2 billion in assets under management, focusing its investments on Israeli tech and healthcare companies at all stages. Pitango’s portfolio companies include ridesharing company Via Transportation Inc. and Nasdaq-listed cybersecurity firm ForeScout Technologies Inc.
