Israel’s national electricity supplier Israel Electric Corporation (IEC) will use risk management and abnormal activity detection software developed by North Carolina-headquartered analytics software company SAS Institute Inc., Mia Analytics, SAS’ exclusive distributor in Israel, announced Thursday. The deal is worth about NIS 4 million (approximately $1.1 million), according to one person familiar with the matter who spoke to Calcalist on condition of anonymity.
