Priced at $48, each box sold by Walmart contains several curated items from leading children’s fashion brands in accordance with the child’s preferences and taste, the time of year, and the latest fashions. The price represents a 50% discount compared to the regular retail price of the bundle of items, according to Walmart.
Founded in 2016 by Israeli entrepreneur Haim Dabah, New York-headquartered Kidbox uses proprietary data science and machine learning algorithms to customize its boxes. Walmart will offer the boxes as a one-time purchase or as part of a six-box subscription.
