Space Florida, the aerospace economic development authority of the State of Florida and the Israel Space Agency (ISA) have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on space-related education programs and to promote academic and industrial partnerships, ISA announced Monday. The collaboration will focus on climate, agriculture, and water challenges.
In attendance at the signing ceremony were Israeli Minister of Science and Technology Ofir Akunis, Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis, Space Florida President and CEO Frank DiBello, Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Science and Technology Ran Bar, ISA Chairman Isaac Ben Israel, and its Director General Avi Blasberger.
