Israel's Bank Leumi, CIBC, and National Australia Bank Join to Scout Fintech Technologies

The three banks launched a joint online portal to which fintech startups can submit proposals

Israel’s Bank Leumi, one of Israel’s two largest banks, has partnered with Australian Securities Exchange-listed National Australia Bank and Toronto listed-Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) to scout for startups and technologies in the field of fintech, the three banks announced Thursday. Together, the banks launched an online portal through which fintech startups can submit proposals that address specific issues identified by the financial institutions. Dubbed theGlobal Alliance Fintech Link, the portal will enable direct collaboration between the banks and startups developing technologies that could enhance customer experiences, the banks said in a statement.
