Jerusalem-based royalty distribution startup Revelator Ltd. is launching a music mobile payment app powered by blockchain technology, the company announced Tuesday. Called Artist Wallet the application will enable musicians, and music producers to receive advancements on future payments. When an artist’s song is streamed or played on the radio, the song’s rights holders are immediately notified by the app, and can then cash out their royalties at any given time.

Founded in 2012, Revelator develops a blockchain-based platform for royalty distributions. The company has raised $5.5 million to date, according to Pitchbook data, and has 90,000 monthly users.
