Kobi Rozengarten Leaves JVP, Will Lead GigCapital’s Israeli Operations

GigCapital also announced the opening of its new office in Israel, the company’s first outside the U.S.

Kobi Rozengarten, until recently a general partner at Israeli venture capital firm Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP), has left JVP and will be leading NYSE-listed GigCapital Inc.’s activities in Israel, GigCapital announced Tuesday. The company also announced the opening of its new office in Israel, the company’s first outside the U.S.

Rozengarten was a managing partner at JVP until November 2018, when he stepped down to act as a venture partner before leaving the firm in January.

Founded in 2017 by Israeli entrepreneur Avi Katz, Palo Alto-based GigCapital Group is a technology, media and telecommunications- focused investment group.
