Business management startup vCita Systems Ltd. has raised a $15 million funding round, the company announced Monday. The round was led by Switzerland-based venture capital firm Forestay Capital SA and brings vCita’s total funding raised to date to approximately $30 million.
Founded in 2010 and based in Seattle, Washington, and Tel Aviv, vCita develops a cloud-based small business management service that combines tasks like scheduling, payments, and marketing campaigns into a single app. The company has some 100,000 paying customers, vCita co-founder and CEO Itzik Levy said in a Monday interview with Calcalist. The company intends to use the funding to double its employee count, mostly in its Tel Aviv office, Levy said.
