Bauer Media Group Acquires Website Building Startup Camilyo

Hamburg, Germany-based Bauer Media Group (incorporated as Heinrich Bauer Verlag KG) has acquired Tel Aviv-based Camilyo Online Ltd., the two companies announced Wednesday.The financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Founded in 2010, Camilyo provides website building and marketing services for small and medium-sized businesses and employs 50 people. Prior to the acquisition, the company had raised a seed round of an undisclosed amount. As part of the acquisition, Camilyo will retain its own branding, management, and team structure, the companies said.
