Cisco Investments, the venture capital arm of multinational networking hardware company Cisco Systems, has led an $8 million series A funding round for Tel Aviv-based debugging software startup Rookout Ltd., the latter announced Wednesday. Israeli venture capital firms TLV Partners and Emerge also participated in the round.
Founded in 2017, Rookout develops technology that allows customers to fix errors in their own software without having to write new code or take their applications offline. The company currently employs 20 people in Tel Aviv and San Francisco, and intends to use the new funds to double its workforce, the company said. In April 2018, the company announced it raised a $4.2 million funding round.
