Cybersecurity Startup Kovrr Raises $5.5 Million

Tel Aviv and London-based Kovrr develops an artificial intelligence-based cybersecurity risk modeling service for insurers and businesses

Tel Aviv and London-based Kovrr Inc. has raised a $5.5 million seed round, the company announced Tuesday. The round was led by Stage One Ventures and Mundi Ventures, with participation by Spanish Banking Group Banco Sabadell.

Founded in 2017, Kovrr develops an AI-based cybersecurity risk modeling service for insurers and businesses. The company’s technology is able to estimate the financial losses different cyber attacks will generate, Yakir Golan, the company’s CEO and co-founder, said in a Monday interview with Calcalist.
